Elements and Performance Criteria

  1. Determine job requirements
  2. Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
  3. Review available standards
  4. Identify and select the appropriate standard that may have relevance to the job
  5. Interpret standard and application of standard to the job
  6. Compile specifications which will ensure job meets standard
  7. Undertake required work
  8. Ensure any required testing/metrics gathering is undertaken
  9. Monitor production to ensure it complies with the procedures and minimise waste
  10. Check conformance to standard, as required
  11. Identify areas for improvement and take appropriate actions
  12. Complete any required documentation/reporting according to SOPs
